I am currently working on a research paper focusing on the relationship between the church and Israel. Needless to say, I am delving into numerous resources in the process. It seems that many outside of the reformed tradition misunderstand the reformed (covenantal) position on the matter. Sadly, this has led some to outrageously misrepresent the reformed position in various articles I have read.

Dr. Pratt's article provides a clear perspective from a covenantal viewpoint. While some may disagree with his solidly covenantal stance, I think all will agree with and appreciate his respect, gratitude and sense of indebtedness for the Jewish people.

Thanks, X, for pointing out Pratt's article.
Curious...do you see significant similarities (and differences) between Pratt's position on entrance into the new covenant and Wright's position from his www.amazon.com/.../0802844456">What Saint Paul...?

Just thinking...

Hi Paul,
Great question. I'm going to have to postpone my answer until after I have finished the book though. This is my first N.T. Wright book and I've really just started.

I'll consider your question in the review I post here this site. Thanks!

Thanks, X...
Wright is an important voice and not to be ignored, despite some controversy. I look forward to your thoughts and insights.

Cheers!

Paul
